"I'thousand invested in the Ring/Amazon ecosystem, so I was familiar with Band service and products. We purchased a new build holding, and the band warning was over half the toll of what the builder was offering to install. I gear up and installed this full system, including iv motion detectors and 3 contact sensors, in less than xl minutes. So easy to add the different devices and configure them. An oversight, in my opinion, is the Band monitoring solution; this will call upwards to 3 people if the alarm is activated or the medical/burn buttons are pressed on the keypad, swell except if you take fallen down the stairs, you take to make your manner to the keypad to activate."

"The photographic camera cannot activate the warning fifty-fifty though it is included in the price of the alarm. Band says it may in future updates, but for the fourth dimension being, it is just a Band photographic camera. The motion sensor has lots of expressionless spots, even on the highest setting. Page 27 of the manual has the operating symbols nether the wrong paragraphs; in that location is also other incorrect information, presumably not updated. I think the most annoying is that each device has its ain setup page in the app, and so it doesn't behave as an integrated arrangement like other warning systems. Different a standard alarm arrangement, y'all can't configure zones to enable or disable (eastward.chiliad. upstairs, downstairs); you take instead to deal with each sensor individually. This gives great flexibility, but if you are not very technical, yous are just going to be exasperated. It's a clever system but, unfortunately, too clever for its own proficient.

On the plus side, it comes with alarm stickers in several languages – in case you are burgled by a person that doesn't speak English. Ring should simply stick to doorbells. I'm returning it."
